We worked to redesign and implement a best in class financial management processes across a $650m commercially driven organisations to improve productivity. The processes in question covered planning, forecasting, budgetary control and profit management. All processes were underpinned by cost-effective IT solutions and managed organisational change. The resulting saving was up to $20m (10%) annual saving on a $100k spend.
We implemented controls to reduce spending by up to 50% on budgets ranging from $4m to $650m. By implementing balanced score cards and standardised Performance Packs in a global IT organisation we were able to conduct hard edge performance conversations on consistent performance measurements which enabled the business to focus on delivering the strategy.
Covering business development, portfolio management and operations. We were accountable for the development of $100m retail business and set up a $2m new business channel. We managed the operation of 42 retail outlets with a turnover of $100m and more than 100 staff. We exceeded fuel sales targets by 10%, negotiating three new supply contracts, worth $1.1m annually and negotiated above plan rentals for 10 outlets; achieving the highest income in the region. Clearly demonstrating our track record of taking action to deliver bottom line results through growth and cost management.
